Introduction
Hello, and welcome to the ASNA 2022/2023 Centralized Application Process (CAP)!

Founded in 1989, the Actuarial Students’ National Association (ASNA) has served almost 20 universities since its inception and has offered numerous professional development opportunities to the Canadian actuarial community. We have taken a strategic approach towards achieving our objective of assisting fellow actuarial students and have successfully established a respected brand within the actuarial community. Our primary vision is to inspire and educate the next generation of actuarial leaders through a wide variety of unique opportunities at the national level.

We are excited to announce that we are looking for highly motivated and accomplished individuals to join our 2022/2023 team in unique management roles ranging from planning and executing our next convention, to other key leadership roles for developing ASNA outside of our flagship event and into new exciting initiatives for the coming year. If your application is successful, you will be contacted in the following weeks for the next steps. All successful candidates will be transitioned over into their new roles, by the previous role-holder.
Member University Delegates
The Delegates of the ANÉA - ASNA team are the backbone of our association. They act as the bridge between the leadership team and the actuarial student body that we serve. Each member university will have one Head Delegate who will be in charge of a small team of other ASNA Delegates. The job of these Delegate teams is to maintain stakeholder relations with our student body and relay their feedback to the Executive team. The positions are as follows:

Head Delegate
- Responsible for running ASNA information sessions at their member university
- Must attend all meetings and vote responsibly on organizational changes
- Must maintain contact with and relay all student feedback to the VP Regional of their province

Delegate
- Reports directly to the Head Delegate of their member university and supports them in planning and executing information sessions. Expected to also act as a volunteer at the convention.
- Key point of contact to the actuarial student community in their school; markets and encourages students to attend and become more involved with ASNA
Note: Each member university will have between 1 - 3 delegates.

The expected time commitment for the Delegate Team is around 2 hours/week, with more as the convention approaches.
Closing Remarks
If you are a highly motivated individual who desires to work with other motivated student leaders across the country, wants to make a difference at the national level, and are looking for one of the most prestigious actuarial leadership positions available to actuarial students and that is recognized by all actuarial companies, then we encourage you to apply for any of our many opportunities for the 2023/2024 term.

Successful candidates will be contacted in the three weeks following the close of the Centralized Application Process (CAP) for the next steps, including potentially an interview.

Once you have filled out your application, please send a copy of your updated resume to president@anea-asna.ca. You can also contact us there if you have any questions not found here or on our website.

I look forward to reviewing all of your applications and afterwards, to working with you in the future.

Kind regards,

Sarah Han
