The Gilmore Park Community League (GPCL) is pleased to offer free packages to Glen Allan residents who would like to welcome a new neighbour on their block or cul-de-sac.
Packages include:
Strathcona County Recreation Pass - Donated by Ward 2 Councillor Dave Anderson
Strathcona County Veggie Bag - Donated by Ward 8 Councillor Katie Berghofer
Norwex Cleaning Product Samples - Donated by Norwex Consultant Karen Sickler
Sherwood Park Soap - Donated by Realtor Chris Greidanus
Vegetable Seeds - Donated by Gilmore Park Community Garden Group
Cleaning Cloth & $100 coupon towards eye glasses - Donated by Trendz Optical
Welcome Letter & Neighbourhood Information - From Gilmore Park Community League
Within each package is a blank 'reaching out' card for you to personalize a welcome, introduce yourself and share contact information. You may also choose to add other personal items to the package, depending on the individual or family moving in (such as cookies, pie, pet treats, kids craft, frisbee for the Greengrove disc golf course, offer to lend a hand, invitation for a walk around the neighbourhood or to a local event).
If you are requesting more than one package, please complete a separate form for each package requested.
Once your request is received by a GPCL volunteer they will follow up with you to make arrangements for you to pick up the package. If you have questions please contact gilmorepark@live.com.
