Breakfast will be served at 8:15, and lunch at 11:45. There is no additional fee for these meals, and all children regardless of their school-year meal status are able to participate in the summer meals program! Children not picked up by 5:45 p.m. will be charged a late fee of $15 per occurrence. Students who are chronically picked up late will be dismissed from the program.

We are open every day except for Monday, May 31st and Monday, July 5th. Please make other arrangements on these two dates. Free breakfast and lunch is scheduled daily until July 26th.

𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍/𝐓𝐄𝐄-𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐄: $𝟐𝟎.𝟎𝟎
Please submit payment with this form. This summer program requires a separate fee from our regular school-year program and is non-refundable. The registration is $20 and includes a tee-shirt. If you have an outstanding balance from any previous school-year, program, or previous school, you will not be allowed to register until you have a zero balance.

𝐓𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐄:
It is School Board policy that daycare payments are made in advance. Please submit your tuition at the beginning of each week your child attends. Our program is a weekly rate plus any field trips they are present for. Payments for field trips are due before attending the field trip. No care is available if your child is unable to attend the field trip. Whether your child attends one or five days during the week, the tuition cost is the same. A $15.00 late fee, per child, will be assessed after 5:45p.m. SBHC staff who are currently working under contract may receive their board-designated rate. If you choose to make a single payment for all field trips the cost is $85 for all 17 events.

** When sending payment into school with your child, please make sure that the memo line on your check indicates “daycare” and your child’s full name. This helps the staff make sure that the payment comes to the daycare office, not the cafeteria, and that it is applied to the correct account.

Payment by credit card is now accepted on our Web site. http://cte.highlands.k12.fl.us and click on School Resources then Afterschool Daycare to make your payment. A 3% convenience fee will be added to your charge.

𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄𝐓𝐘, 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 & 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐘:
At Cracker Trail Elementary, we strive to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable daycare program. To ensure your child's safety, you are required to sign your child out when picking him/her up.

Daycare must be notified if someone other than a designated person is to pick up your child. If someone other than yourself or the normal pick up person is to pick up your child, you must submit your request in writing and deliver it to CTE office/daycare staff. Also, prepare that person to come in with a state-issued, valid picture ID. Other than who the child lives with, we can add two people who may regularly pick them up to our student information system. This small inconvenience ensures that all children are safe, and released only to people that you have pre-approved. If someone attempts to pick your child up, and we don’t have a record of them, we will call you before releasing the child.

It is very important that you keep us posted of any address, phone number, and job changes. If your child is sick or injured, we will contact you immediately at your place of employment to pick up your child.

Rules and the Code of Conduct that apply during the school day also applies during after school care. If your child misbehaves, appropriate action will be taken. Minor offenses will result in time-out and parents will be informed. Major offenses will result in a warning letter or possible suspension from the program. If major offenses continue, your child will be removed from the program.

We understand that electronic devices are often brought to school to enhance access to the Internet, textbooks and other online resources. These devices may be used in the same capacity at daycare. In daycare, they will only be allowed to be accessed during homework time for academic purposes. Devices will not be allowed outside, or out during other activities. On Fridays only we may permit students to use their iPod/iPad during computer lab time for games. PSP/Gameboy/etc are only allowed on non-school days.

𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐒/𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒:
This summer we have planned several social field trips for the children. Each trip will have a separate fee, listed on the permission slip. Many special theme days listed on the calendar will be provided on campus for no additional charge! If you choose to make a single payment for all field trips the cost is $85 for all 17 events. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we are taking extra precautions and only traveling by bus to the Sebring High pool this summer. At the time this packet is printed, any student or staff riding a school bus will be required to wear a mask on the bus.
