This is where you register your event to participate in our 2023 nationwide celebration of poetry. Please fill in the details below about your event. Once you have registered, the National Coordinator will be in touch with marketing materials, support, and to assist you to advertise your event on the Event Calendar!

We’re looking forward to our annual celebration of the power of poetry! After several tricky years, we are hoping poetry can heal and uplift, lighting the way forward. If you would like to theme your event with this in mind, please do – but we welcome all your creativity for events and competitions, so don’t feel constrained.

You may find it helpful to read the Guidelines Pack (https://www.nzbookawards.nz/national-poetry-day/how-to-run-a-national-poetry-day-event/). If you prefer, you can fill in the Registration Form Template in the Guidelines Pack as a word document first, then just copy and paste your answers into this online form.
