RIBA Studio: Certificate Eligibility Form
This is the
first stage
in the application process for the
RIBA Certificate (Part 1)
The RIBA Certificate (Part 1) is a 4-year course. The 4-year period begins from the date of registration (1st March 2025); in general this 4-year period cannot be reduced but there may be instances where advanced standing applies with ARB / RIBA approvals.
Prior to the start of the course, students are expected to prepare for the application process, portfolio compilation, and the interview.
Applicants not currently satisfying the employment requirements may still apply and will be required to find suitable, supervised employment anywhere within the UK / EEA not later than January 17th 2025
The annual fee for the 2025-26 academic year has been confirmed at £3,475. Fees are expected to rise by 5% per annum
