Thank you for taking the time to fill out this application. It will help us get to know you.
How it WorksThe exchange is based on volunteers contributing 30 hours of work a week.
As part of the exchange, three prepared meals are available each day during the week. On the weekend staple foods are provided and are prepared by the community in a free-flow style.
Volunteers usually need to bring a tent with them. There may be space to stay in one of our dorms.
We require a one month commitment and have a one week check in to ensure proper fit.
Things to NoteWe have WiFi internet, which works great during the dry season, but during the wet months (May – October) tends to experience frequent outages. If you have commitments that require you to be online at certain times, it is better that you plan to visit us from November onwards.
We are about 30 minutes drive from town and the beach. 4WD is required to get to us. If you choose to join us, expect to spend a lot of time at Tierramor, which is fairly removed from the more general area.
Tierramor prohibits individual use of drugs/medicines. Plant medicines are sometimes utilized together as a community.
