We are re-launching this project to get Hackney Governing. Following on from our pilot, many of the young governors have remained on boards and have now taken on responsibilities. We believe that it is important to continue to embed the voice and experience of young people into the governance of our schools.
The 'Get Hackney Governing' project aims to support young adults to fulfil their role as a governor on the school board. It offers an incredible experience to participate in strategic governance and leadership, develop skills, connect with experienced professionals and benefit from the shared learning and support of a peer to peer network.
Find out more about governance here.We are delighted that you are interested to participate in this project, which is a voluntary role. - Other (e.g. part of a Hackney community / volunteer group)
