Hello Particpant!

This is the vendor & sponsor application for The Historic Emory Grove Rotary Club's 'A Juneteenth Celebration' -  being held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Johnson's Park in Gaithersburg, MD [18000 Washington Grove Ln, Gaithersburg, MD 20877].

All vendors & sponsors that can connect their services and products to Black Culture, Black Art, Black Achievements, Black History, Black Care, Black Community, Black Joy, and Black Wellness are welcomed to join us. Our theme this is year: Celebrating the Past & Creating a Bright Future.  

*KID/FAMILY-FRIENDLY VENDORS and PRODUCTS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED!*

VENDORS: We are selling spaces, in advance, for $20. The price will increase to $30 on the day of the event.
~ table at the event; name listed in the virtual program / catalog
SPONSORSHIP:   We have two levels available
~ Level 1: Black Joy! - $50 = Half page ad in program / catalog; table at the event; links to business page
~ Level 2: Black Joy, Pride, & Respect! - $100 = Full Page ad in program / catalog + table at event; links to business page
**Payments must be received No Later Than June 15, 2021.**

Sponsorship: We also have additional opportunities for you to advertise your business.  Please consider promotion of your business by donating products (e.g. swag-bag items, gift certificate, gift basket, etc..) as (1) additional promotion or (2) a substitution for vending. If providing for the swag bags or raffle - the items must be collected by June 15th. For more information, review the options below in the application.

We are also interested in promoting our vendors and sponsors via social media. The organizer will contact you for information and survey your willingness to promote your business before the event.

VENDOR GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION

Spaces will be 8 X 4 (EQUAL TO ONE UNIT) and vendors MUST BRING THEIR OWN TABLES, CHAIRS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR SET-UP.

IF YOU REQUIRE ADDITIONAL SPACE, YOU MUST PURCHASE MULTIPLE UNITS FOR VENDING.

SPACES CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER VENDOR UNLESS APPROVED BY THE ORGANIZER.

AVAILABILITY OF ELECTRICITY IS NOT AVAILABLE TO THE OUTDOOR VENDOR SPACE.

VENDORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL NON-PREPACKAGED FOOD DUE TO HEALTH LICENSING, PERMITS, ETC.)

ALL VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SET-UP AND REMOVAL OF PERSONAL ITEMS AND REFUSE DURING EVENT CLOSE.

Vendors are not permitted to: Play music (recorded or live - unless approved by the organizers).

There will be photographers at the event. Without charge, you may receive a digital copy of photos where you are in the picture.  By participating in the event, you agree to have your image used for 'A Juneteenth Celebration' and future marketing of other workshops, events, and other experiences offered by the organizer.

No straws are allowed nor are noisy/pyrotechnic items such as: snaps/pops, bomb bags, fart bags, fart spray, smoke bombs, sparklers, stink bombs, and annoying/messy items such as silly string, magic ink, itching powder or traps.
