Survey for K-2 Families
As plans continue to be worked out for the opening of school in the fall it is important to get feedback from parents of students in Knappa School District.  Please take a few moments to fill out the attached survey to give us your plans for next school year.  

Knappa would like to bring back K-2 students five days a week, if that isn't an option for your student we will be offering Knappa Virtual Academy which will be taught by our teachers.

The district feels that in person instruction is crucial for learning at this age.

Parents will have the choice of sending their students to school five days a week OR Parents can choose to have their students enroll in the Knappa Virtual Academy which is all on line and is taught by our teachers. We are asking parents to commit to nine weeks with the option to change at the quarter. * *
We are planning to divide the community east and west.  We are required by the health department to keep stable cohort groups on the bus, so parents will not be able to send their students occasionally on the bus.  We are asking you to either commit to send your students on the bus on a daily basis or driving your child to and from school.  This commitment is for a nine week or quarter period.  It may be possible, in lieu of bus transportation, to reimburse families for mileage if they elect to drive their student(s) to school for the quarter.

The COVID 19 exposure time is 15 minutes in an enclosed space.  Many of our students ride the bus for longer than that.  Please let us know if you are opposed to having your student wear a mask on the bus only.  No decisions have been made on this.
