Graduate Teaching Excellence Award 2019-2020
This award recognizes excellence in teaching methods and practices in the classroom and beyond. The number of awards and the nature of each award may vary from year to year depending on resource availability.

Qualifying criteria: All CU Boulder graduate students who have not previously been awarded an UGGS TEA are eligible to receive this award.  Graduate students may only receive one TEA during their entire CU career.
Graduate Students from all disciplines will be equally considered for these awards.

Nominations will be graded on the following criteria:
1.Student engagement (40%) -- Nomination materials should include actionable examples of how the nominee promoted student engagement with course materials and learning.
2. Commitment to growth (40%) -- Nomination materials should highlight the efforts made by the nominee to change the course or their teaching methods in response to feedback (from students, CTL, own expectations, etc).
3. Significance in teaching (20%) -- Nomination materials should illustrate clear goals/philosophy guiding the nominee’s teaching.
