Ontario Speed Skating Virtual Long Track Technical Development Opportunity
In order to offer development opportunities throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic for Long Track skaters who are bound for Canadian Youth Long Track Championships and Canada Cups, Ontario Speed Skating, in partnership with Speed Skating Canada and RBC Training Ground, is hosting a Long Track Technical Development opportunity. This program will consist of a video submission and a virtual follow up session with an Ontario Long Track coach.

This program runs from February 26 - March 26, 2021.

Please submit your YouTube Video Link of your skating technique video here. (What to Submit: Skaters should submit a brief YouTube video (1 minute maximum) of their Long Track start and straight away technique on Long Track ice. The ideal video will have an individual skater (not in a group) completing 2-3 straight aways from both the front and sideview. Skaters who do not have access to Long Track ice are also welcome to submit a brief video of their start and straight away technique on Clap Skates on indoor ice. If possible, skaters may also submit a video clip of their Long Track cornering technique on Long Track ice only. Corners on Clap Skates on Short Track ice will not be evaluated.) *
