On Linux:
- Step 1) Install gcc
- Step 2) Open a Terminal
- Step 3) provide the output of the following command as your CPU Platform:
      gcc -march=native -Q --help=target | sed -ne 's/^  -march=\W*\(.*\)$/\1/p'

example: broadwell

On Windows:
- Step 1) Install the "windows subsystem for linux" and then follow the linux instructions above

On Mac OSX:
- Step 1) Open Terminal
- Step 2) provide the output of the following command as your CPU Platform:
    sysctl -n machdep.cpu.brand_string

example: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8257U CPU @ 1.40GHz
