Thank you for taking the time to give us your valued feedback. The following survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete and will be used to support our decision making regarding the new uniform for The Harleston Sancroft Academy.

In preparing this uniform proposal, we have considered the recent DfE guidance on school uniforms (click here) and the significant cost that some items of uniform can incur. Under our current proposal, the new Secondary uniform is cheaper than the current ASHS uniform - with current costs this is approximately £32 cheaper when buying full uniform and PE kit.

As is currently the case, as a school we are committed to supporting families, including those who qualify for Free School Meals or who qualify for the Pupil Premium Grant with the purchase of school uniform items (this does not apply to universal infant free school meal provision). This can be discussed with the Head of School and will be considered on an individual basis.

We ask that you answer ALL questions irrespective of whether your child attends / you are a member of staff in the Primary or Secondary phase.

Timeframes

All new children joining Harleston Sancroft Academy will be expected to wear the new school uniform from 2023 (e.g. New Year 7 and Year R / 1).

The old uniform will not be available to purchase from September 2023.

I would like to see everyone in the new uniform from September 2024

I would like the new uniform to be phased in over a longer period of time and will replace my child's uniform with the new one once they have grown out of it
