Cascade is an MIT ESP program, running Saturdays 10:30 AM - 3 PM EDT from Oct. 3 through 31. We recruit underserved ninth and tenth-grade students from Greater Boston-area schools and community centers, many of whom do not have access to other educational enrichment opportunities. This year, we're excited to be holding a virtual version of Cascade that we hope will provide a fulfilling educational experience in an uncertain time.

We're looking for teachers (1-1.5 hours on Saturdays, 5 weekend commitment) eager to share their passions with students who may have had little chance to explore subjects outside of a traditional classroom format. We also strongly encourage co-teaching with a friend or with colleagues! Please note that all our teachers are volunteers and we don't provide monetary compensation, although we usually provide lunch and t-shirts and are hoping to adapt those perks to Cascade's virtual form :)
