DVC Listening Session Interest Form

DVC will be holding a listening session Tuesday, January 5, at 10:30 a.m. The purpose of this event is to learn more about our students and their families' identities and to share their experiences and stories with the DVC staff. This is a great opportunity for our staff to learn from you to make the school more diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

Participants will be given the following questions to guide the listening sessions:
1. Tell a story about a time in your life that can help the DVC staff understand your own identity and how it impacts your life.

2. What parts of your identity are you able to bring and shine at DVC? Are there parts of your identity that you feel that you need to hide at DVC? If you can’t bring your whole self, why not?

3. What are the strengths of DVC in relation to diversity, equity, and inclusion? What are the challenges of DVC in relation to diversity, equity, and inclusion?
