Waiuku Raptors Basketball - Waitlist 2024
Term 2 Registrations are open and will close on Monday 28th April!


Please fill in this form for Waiuku Raptors Basketball pre-registration for 2024 season.

Due to high demand, we leave this as an active waitlist that remains open for parents to register players information throughout the term. Competitions are based around school terms over 8 weeks.

Once you are registered you will be sent payment and GameDay registration process details in due course.

Training is held Tuesdays at Waiuku College. Times are on our club page (on which dates are currently being updated for 2024). First trainings are 30th April and 7th May. Then games start as below.


Games are Wednesdays (U16, U18, adults) or Fridays (U10, U12, U14) with Franklin Basketball in Pukekohe.

U8 Hoopsters is a Monday only programme in Waiau Pa (no games in Pukekohe).

Note that the age groups have been renamed this year, as Basketball New Zealand (and therefore Franklin Basketball) have changed the names of all age groups to align with FIBA (world basketball). These age groups are exactly the same, they just have new names. For example 11U (11 years and under, can't be older than 11 years old, so can't turn 12 in the calendar year) is now called U12 (under 12 years, so can't turn 12 in the calendar year). If you're confused - don't worry! We'll put your child in the correct age group according to the year they were born:
  • U8 Hoopsters (2017, 2018, 2019) turns 5, 6 or 7 this year - must be at least 5 years old
  • U10 (2015, 2016) - turns 8 or 9 this year
  • U12 & U12 Girls Only (2013, 2014) - turns 10 or 11 this year
  • U14 & U14 Girls Only (2011, 2012) - turns 12 or 13 this year
  • U16 & U16 Girls Only (2009, 2010) - turns 14 or 15 this year
  • U18 (2007, 2008) - turns 16 or 17 this year
  • Anyone born in 2006 or earlier can join our Midweek Hoops team (if enough interest)

Payment for fees will be made via bank transfer, and we will also require all players to register on GameDay.
