Zikaron BaSalon 2020 Registration
Dear Partners,

It has become a tradition in USY that on the eve of Yom HaShoah,  Holocaust Remembrance Day, we partner with Zikaron BaSalon (“memories in the living room”).

Zikaron BaSalon offers a meaningful and intimate way to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day. It is a unique and authentic tradition of people gathering together to open their hearts to the stories of the survivors, sing, think, read, talk and most importantly- listen. Hosting a Zikaron BaSalon event requires coordinating the three constituents of the event- a testimony (in-person or recorded), an expression piece (song, video, art presentation, etc...) and a discussion.

You can learn more about Zikaron BaSalon and the different options of the content offered by them for the event by visiting the organization's website: https://www.zikaronbasalon.org/.

We will host two main events of Zikaron BaSalon on the eve of Yom HaShoah, April 20th, via Zoom. One will be at 8:00 pm EST, and the second one will be at 8:00 pm PST.

You are more than welcome to host your own Zikaron BaSalon event with your community if you will prefer (it could be the Branch, the Region, a Chapter/Synagogue). We encourage you to host it on the same day, or on any other day of that week (April 19th-26th).

Please register below- either to join the main events or for hosting your own.

If you have any questions, please contact Yoni Avitan, USY International Shaliach, at shaliach@uscj.org.
