The calibration of passive dosemeters is an important issue for the quality of a dosimetry system. The Intercomparison organization group of WG3 SG2 would like to extend its task providing European laboratories and institutes the possibility to compare their calibration capabilities.

SHORT INFORMATION ABOUT THE PLANNED IC2023calib:
  • Each participant will get a number of passive dosemeters at a specified date.
  • The participant performs the irradiations free-in-air with a dose of 10 mSv in terms of H*(10).
  • The participant's reported irradiation dose values are compared to the actually measured dose values.
  • Finally, EURADOS certificates are issued with the relative deviation of the reported irradiation dose values and the resulting z-score.
