Talent ID for Upcoming Athletes

The Paris Olympic Cycle is now underway. Following the momentum and excitement of the Tokyo 2020 Cycle, Taekwondo Ireland Kyorugi HP wishes to invite interest from upcoming interested experienced athletes born 2003-2006 looking to progress to the Senior National Team during the Paris 2024 Cycle.

Form to be completed by Taekwondo Ireland members only.
You must have permission & inform your Club that you are registering interest.

Those registering interest note they would be interested in attending minimum quarterly meets focusing on various aspects of training and, possible training alongside Senior National Squad with a goal of progressing to Senior National Team.

This is separate and in addition to usual WTI National Development Training / National Squad Training.
Registering is not compulsory, but recommended.

This is a Taekwondo Ireland Kyorugi High Performance Initiative.
Goal - to promote the development of a Senior National Team with representation in multiple divisions during the Paris 2020 cycle and beyond.

*This initiative is intended to encourage and identify younger up & coming athletes to Senior Level and ensure a firm pathway and transition past cadet & junior ages who were born 2003-2006.
