FIS Board Committees Presentation - 7th October 2022

Dear Parents,

A united and sound governance is part of our vision, as is a diverse and engaged community. The Board of Directors is always looking to engage parents in the governance of our school, notably through participation in Board committees. Therefore, serving on a committee is a great way for parents to be more active and engaged while contributing to the soundness of our governance. It is also often a way to prepare oneself to serve on our Board of Directors. As an example, two of our new Board members this year served on a committee prior to their election.

We are seeking skilled professionals willing to dedicate time and energy to steering the school in its ongoing improvement. The school has 6 committees: Finance, Compensation and Benefits, Audit, Long-Term Strategy, Fundraising, and Governance.

Are you interested in the governance of our school?

Would you like to know more about the mission and tasks of the Board and its committees?

Do you have skills and experience in finance, audit, risk, legal, strategy, human resources, or fundraising? Do you want to get involved in the FIS community?

Come and join us on Friday 7th October for an information meeting on the Board committees, their role, and the opportunities to contribute as a parent volunteer.

  • Date: Friday 7th October 2022 from 6pm to 7pm.
  • Location: BPR campus room 507 A/B
If you are interested, please confirm your attendance by filling in the form below.
