Thank you for your interest in the National Board NEA Virtual JumpStart Academy. NSEA National Board Academy and the Nevada National Board Professional Learning Institute will host two JumpStart Academies this summer.  

JumpStart Academy Session I: June 16 - 18 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
JumpStart Academy Session II: July 21 - 23 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.  

Please be encouraged to register for the VIRTUAL JumpStart Academy session(s) for the National Board Component(s) that you will pursue in 2020-2021 by completing the form below. The Nevada National Board Professional Learning Institute uses Zoom as the platform for their virtual seminars.

National Board resource materials will be provided to National Board candidates who register this Fall for candidate support with the Nevada National Board Professional Learning Institute for 2020-2021.  Materials will include Bobbie Faulkner's What Works! Successful Strategies for Pursing National Board Certification and What Teachers Should Know and Be Able to Do, in addition to resource materials and strategies regarding student differentiation, assessment, and teaching and learning environments.  Additional candidate resources can be accessed at https://www.nbpts.org/national-board-certification/candidate-center/first-time-and-returning-candidate-resources/.

JumpStart Academy is provided at $25.00 for each selected daily seminar.
