Puppy Pre-School at Pawlished is all about spending your puppy's critical socialization period doing the *right* things, so that you have a strong, social, happy, friendly dog for life. We will cover: teaching your puppy to relax, ways to stop play biting, how to crate train, how to house train, healthy diets, the best toys on the market, brain games, proprioception, engagement, foundational learning skills, training tools, basic grooming, a little first aid, clicker training, socializing your puppy to stranger's handling them, play body language, and confidence building.

FAQs:
1. Age: This class is for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age.
2. Obedience as a Topic: We do not cover basic obedience in puppy pre-school, because it is not age appropriate material, we have a lifetime to teach dogs obedience and a very small window of time to socialize them the right way. We will, however, teach your dog how to learn and create strong foundations for understanding how you'll communicate to them, making teaching obedience and tricks much easier.
3. Materials: All training materials required for class are included in the cost of class
4. Vaccinations: Proof of at least the first round of vaccinations are required: Distemper (required), Parvo (required), DHPP (required based on age), Rabies (required based on age), Bordetella (encouraged based on age)
5. COVID-19: If you or a member of your household are exposed to COVID-19 before or between classes, you will be asked to participate virtually, and the class will be live streamed for you.
