CHILD SAFEGUARDING

Codes of Practice have been put in place in our Diocese of Kildare & Leighlin for all who are involved in working with children and young people. One of our requirements is that all the Altar Servers must ‘sign in’ when attending to serve at Mass, Weddings, Funerals or for Training Purposes. Since December 2008 we have been keeping an attendance record of all children serving in the Church and there is a registration book in the Sacristy for the Servers to sign their names when they arrive.
