B·O·N·D International Virtual Performance Festival is hosting in-person/Zoom engagement experience "B·O·N·D in Your City", a series of small-scale, intimate play-reading event with our local community members, to read some of our new works together as well as discussing the importance of monodrama as activism at this moment.

"B·O·N·D in Your City" opens doors to our NYC/Toronto/Brussels community to join us for the first look into B·O·N·D commissioned works and other classic monodramas--come for a delightful, casual evening of play-reading, unleash your acting skills, discussions, Q&A with B·O·N·D creators, and connect with one another through the magic of monodramatic text!

What is B·O·N·D?

Co-produced with CHUANG Stage (Boston), B·O·N·D International Virtual Performance Festival is a 2-week-long worldwide celebration of digital theater as bold statements in unprecedented moments for artists of Asian descent around the world. This year, we have been commissioning new pieces of monodrama from global artists, collectively manifesting the underrepresented voices and experiences of the Chinese diaspora.

“维·国际虚拟现场演出展”是由贺天丁等多位驻美艺术家联合发起的国际表演作品在线演出周及爱好者社群，包含戏剧、舞蹈、声音、装置、交互、行为艺术、手语等。为期1个月的演出展，共获得了超过25万全球观众的关注。

2021年，带着全新面貌归来的第二届“维·国际虚拟现场演出展”在6月18日至7月2日之间举行，由国际戏剧学者与艺术家组建跨国制作团队，联合波士顿地区戏剧公司CHUANG Stage，以全新的专场形式、实体与虚拟结合的方式呈现给全球观众。此次专场以“独白剧·自由的声音”为主题，集结多位现居世界各地的中国导演和亚裔艺术家，以共同孵化和独立建组的形式，分别创作独白剧作品进行全球限时演出及放映。
