ESSER III Allowable Activities - Public Input
Gordon-Rushville Public Schools is eligible to receive ESSER III funding as part of the The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) Fund under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, in the amount of $1,354,318. The requirements to receive the funding includes taking input from stakeholders about how to allocate the funds. Additionally at least 20 percent of funds ($270,863) must be used to address learning loss through the implementation of evidence-based interventions. This survey lists the allowable activities for funding under this grant. Interested persons are encouraged to offer input as to which categories the funds should be allocated. Specific details about an activity can be submitted in the "Other" line of each choice. Other activities that are necessary to maintain the operation and continuity of services in LEAs and continuing to employ existing staff of the LEA. Any entity that receives funds under the Education Stabilization Fund shall, to the greatest extent practicable, continue to pay its employees and contractors during the period of any disruptions or closures related to COVID-19.
