Friends of UW-Madison Libraries - Request for Appointment to Drop Off Donations

The Friends value and depend on your donations of used books, records, and DVD's. While some material is added to the University collections, much is made available to the public during our highly-anticipated semiannual sales in the spring and fall. Through these book donations and sale purchases, old books find new homes and valuable support is provided to the Libraries. We welcome your contributions.

Ten boxes or less may be dropped off without an appointment on the Memorial Library loading dock, weekdays between 8AM and 3PM. Donations must be in boxes with lids that close and clearly marked "FRIENDS." If you wish to receive an acknowledgement, include your name an address in each box.

For larger donations, please use this form to help us schedule your appointment. We will contact you within 48 hours to work out a day/time that works best for everyone. We appreciate your support of the Friends of UW-Madison Libraries!

I understand that storage space is limited and that all donated materials will be stored for an indefinite period before further processing by Friends. With this in mind, I agree to the following (all boxes must be checked, which indicates agreement): *

My donations will be in closed cardboard boxes similar to file boxes or copy paper boxes.

My donation will not include moldy, damp, dirty, smoky, or unsaleable materials.
