The walls that hold you, the corridors that give spaces for you to cry, laugh, run, and scream, the buildings that fill you with a sense of accomplishment and ambitions, the lawns that let you soak in the sun or the shade of the trees that save you from the sun, the College that is home to you and will always be.

Miranda House is not just an institution but it is more than that, a safe haven for your individual expression. Founded in 1948, its foundation stone was laid by Lady Edwina Mountbatten on March 7. It was a residence before it became a college. This place has seen numerous physical changes, where the hostel is among the oldest residential buildings in the university.

Miranda House possesses a rich history and attached to it are various strands of stories that are worth knowing. Join Raahi, the Heritage Walk society of Miranda House on a walk along the passages of this institution and get a glimpse of the history that surrounds you. As you leave this place, leave it with not just your memories but with the stories of the corridors and walls of Miranda. The walk will be led by our esteemed professor from the department of history, Dr. Srimanjari, and Raahi’s Vice-President, Yushvita.
