Please Read this entire document!!

We at Mid-Willamette Transgender Support Network raise money in various ways in order to provide direct financial assistance to  trans, gender diverse, intersex, gender magical, non-binary, specific gender-ethnic minority identity,  non-colonial binary identity, or any other non-cisgender individuals in Linn, Benton, Linn, Lincoln counties in Oregon in the United States.

If you're not in our county specific service area here are some website that can offer help:
Trans Lifeline Name Change Grants, and former incarcerated folks grants. https://translifeline.org/microgrants/#types
Trans Safety Emergency Fund: https://transsafety.fund/get-help/
Also there are grants for Name Changes and Hair Removal microgrants from Trans Lifeline at

In order to apply for these funds, please consult this form.  We can’t fund every request, but all requests will be considered.  This fund is intended to help with obtaining correct ID documentation, medical care, whether related to transition or not (including mental health and recovery services), medical care costs, and emergency expenses like groceries, car payments or repairs, vehicle registration, rent, and other one-time emergency needs.

We know your situation may be urgent.  Please be aware that the process for granting funds may take up to a week or more depending on staff availability. Please let us know if there is a date you need the funds by. Please send an email to midwillamettetsn@gmail.com if it has been longer than a week since you submitted your application.

At this time, we are only able to fund up to $500 per request. Please reach out to midwillamettetsn@gmail.com if more funds are needed and we will review your request on an as needed basis. If you have a fundraising post on Facebook, we are happy to share that with our followers to help you raise money. Please message the Facebook page or our Instagram for more information.

Make sure to completely fill out the form, including your name and the best way to get a hold of you so that we can get you funds when they become available. The requested funds must be used on what they were asked for.  We typically make the payment directly on your behalf.  If that is not possible, you will need to provide documentation to show how it was spent.

How we pay out funds:
For rent requests we will need to reach directly out to your landlord or property management company for direct payment. We want to pay via check to your landlord. We also work with the Benton County Rental
Assistance Network and may be able to help facilitate larger amounts being paid for rent if you are in Benton County.
For gas and grocery requests we will provide a gift card.
For other emergency expenses we've paid directly to utility companies, etc. We also may pay for medical costs or other aks via Venmo.
