David García Rodríguez, film restorer and son of Spanish cinema pioneer Ana Mariscal, will present EL CAMINO, whose restored copy was showcased by Cannes Classics in 2021 and is now part of the European Film Factory's catalogue. The masterclass will highlight the film's themes relating to the coming of age in a small rural village in Spain during Franco's dictatorship, the memories from the filming process, and the importance of preserving film heritage.
