Request Fiscal Sponsorship from POD

POD provides fiscal sponsorship to emerging harm reduction organizations on a case by case basis. Fiscal sponsorship is when an established nonprofit organization provides fiduciary oversight, financial management, and other services to new projects that have not had the ability or resources to become an independent fiscal entity. In addition POD can help new organizations find resources and connections to become independent and funded.

These services are primarily offered to the community free of charge on a case by case basis. Due to the additional administrative functions needed for federal fund management, an 8% fee will be allocated to federal grant/contract awards.

POD expects that programs will (with support from POD and AIDS United) set up a business bank account within the first 12 months of fiscal sponsorship.
