For 2024, the breakout sessions for the Arkansas CTE Summer Conference will be held at the Saline County Career Technical Center in Benton, Arkansas, on July 17, 2024. Please note that the first day of the conference, July 16, will be held at Benton Event Center but we will not have breakout sessions that day. This Call is for sessions to be held on Wednesday, July 17, unless other arrangements are made.

We strive to provide quality professional development and our presenters are the key to that!

The Call for Presenters is open until June 1, 2024. Presenters will be notified regarding the presentation date and time by June 15.

All presenters must supply their own equipment for presenting, although some meeting rooms will have presentation equipment available. Part of effective professional development is providing meaningful presentation materials and online resources that allow the participants to further their learning. It is expected that presenters provide electronic presentation materials, handouts and/ or follow-up materials for our event participants before, during, or after the event. Presenters are expected to develop effective interactive activities to ensure the workshop attendee the best professional development opportunity.

Arkansas ACTE does not pay presenters. Any presenter fees need to be arranged with the divisions for payment. *
