The Effect of the Beirut Port Explosion on the Mental Health of the Lebanese after 22 months.
You are invited to participate in a study on the Effect of the Beirut Port Explosion on the Mental Health of the Lebanese People after 22 months following the tragedy.
The Beirut Port Explosion was one of the strongest non-nuclear explosions that ever happened in history. It lead to at least 218 deaths, 7,000 injuries, severe property damage, and left an estimated 300,000 people homeless. People are still reported missing and the Blast is still claiming lives to this day.

This study is conducted by Diana El Sayed Abou El Joud, Master's student at the Lebanese University, in order to obtain a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, under the supervision of Dr. Natalie Maamari. The information collected may not benefit you directly. Still, the information learned in this study should provide more general information about the mental status of the Lebanese population after the Beirut Port Explosion on August 4th, 2020.

Inclusion criteria:
-Adult ≥ 18 years old.
-Was present in Lebanon on the 4th of August 2020.
-Average time to fill in the survey: 5 minutes.
