John D Schopp Memorial Lecture 2023
Dr. Rachel Bezanson, an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Pittsburgh Particle physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology Center (PITT-PACC) will be speaking about her research with the James Webb Space Telescope.

As part of the UNCOVER Treasury program, Dr. Bezanson is analyzing NIRSpec and NIRCam images to gather information about the distance and physical aspects of the earliest galaxies in the universe.

The event will take place February 24th, 2023 starting at 6 pm in Hardy Tower 140 on the San Diego State University campus.

Parking is available in Parking Lot 1, on the first and second floors.
