Thank you for your interest in joining the Canada International Children's Art Foundation(CICAF) Art Workshop Program! CICAF is a registered non-profit organization since 2012.
Our Foundation aims to build an international platform for children’s art education, artistic exchanges and displays, to encourage them to be inspired by their imagination and creativity and as a result, create their own art.
The CICAF Art Workshop Program is funded by the Government of Canada (Employment and Social Development Canada) and Canadian Red Cross. The Project purpose is to offer free virtual training classes of arts, technology, cooking lessons, an online competition, and one-on-one professional sessions for children and youth from low income families. This helps address the impacts of COVID-19 to children and youth who are unable to attend extracurricular development activities due to the imposing social isolation. This is in support of primarily children and youth, families with low income or living in poverty and students.
The project offers the initiatives below:
• Host virtual arts/technology/cooking classes to attract interests and advocate children/youths to
prepare meals for their family to reduce parents’ burdens between work and cooking during self quarantine
• Conduct a virtual competition with the theme of "We Are Together" for children/youths to encourage
themselves and inspire others through forms of art/technology/cooking
• Offer professional one-on-one coaching opportunities for further development of interests
Each workshop will be made available on a first come first served basis, please fill out the form below for pre-registration, we will email you the confirmation and class schedule.
Workshop duration: September 19th - Nov 20th, 2020
