INTEREST CHECK / CALL FOR PLAYTESTERS
I'm making a strategic card game and I need playtesters!
The game is a revision of a card game I started developing years ago. It involves elements of spatial puzzles, mixed in with other card game mechanics.
The primary mechanic of the game is that playing cards fills up the limited space on your field, a 2x5 grid. You can use some effects to destroy cards on your field, freeing up space, or to send cards to your opponent's field.
The kicker is this: When your field is out of room, if you'd be forced to play a card, then you're eliminated. Thus, the more cards you play, the easier it is for an opponent to eliminate you.
Should you destroy cards on your own field, or try to destroy your opponent's essential cards? Should you play a card and push yourself closer to the edge, or play it safe and rely on cards you already have?
It theoretically supports any player count, but realistically, probably no more than 6. My design goal is to get the game to comfortably support at least 4.
