2024 UMF 2-for-1 Waiver &Adult Success Scholarship Application
The 2-for-1 Tuition Waiver covers tuition, but not fees, for one of your first two courses at UMF. These courses can be taken concurrently or sequentially but require continuous enrollment, so you cannot take a term off between them. You qualify for this waiver if you have been away from college for at least two semesters and are an adult learner.

The UMF Adult Success Scholarship supports in-state, need-based adult learners returning to school after being away from the University of Maine System for at least two semesters. 

NOTE:  You must file a FAFSA each year you are enrolled to be considered for the waiver and scholarship.  Funds can be used during the Summer term if you have not exhausted your eligibility during the academic year. For Summer terms, please also complete the Summer Financial Aid application.

Renewal Criteria:  The Adult Success Scholarship can be renewed for up to $4,000 per academic year depending on your enrollment and financial need.  Must maintain semester GPA of 2.0.  Must be enrolled in two of the three terms in an academic year. Maximum lifetime eligibility of $16,000.
