Parent Occupation 2023 Update
School funding from the Department of Education is determined by the occupations of the parents at the school. The school receives more money if a parent is unemployed or on a lower income and less money if the parent is employed full time with a high income.

It is important that you provide us with current and accurate information, so that we can obtain maximum amount of funding to support your child's learning needs. If we have have a substantial number of parents in the 'A' category for example, then we receive less funding.

It is important to complete this survey so that we have up to date and accurate information for our 2024 funding. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email the school at south.melbourne.park.ps@education.vic.gov.au
