Thank you for your interest in supporting Michigan’s public libraries and protecting your right to read. As a member of the MI Right to Read coalition, we encourage you to submit letters to the editor to local newspapers about the importance of preventing book banning and censorship in our libraries.
A letter to the editor is a message to a newspaper or other publication that shares your view on a current issue you feel is important in your community, state, or country. A letter to the editor is a platform where you can urge your neighbors to learn more and join the fight.
If you'd like to attach your name to a letter to the editor, please fill out the form below and a MI Right to Read team member will reach out to confirm a local paper near you.
Please contact Bridgette Bauer at bbauer@martinwaymire.com if you have any questions.
