Organ Academy for Adults, 2022
July 16 to August 21, 2022

The “Organ Academy for Adults” is a summer program for keyboard players over the age of 18 who want to learn to play the organ, or for those who already have some acquaintances on the instrument. It is designed for those who have achieved at least an intermediate level of keyboard proficiency. Previous organ study is not required; beginners are welcome. This month-long summer organ academy will include:


- One-to-one individual lessons (60 mins x 4) on pipe organs
- Practice sessions on pipe organs
- Workshops on a variety of topics, including an introduction to the mechanism of a pipe organ
- Two site visits to venues with pipe organs
- Final Students’ Recital
- Instructors: Ryan Chan, Chere Ko, Helon Kwan, Anne Lam, Andy Ng, Elizabeth H Wong

Program Fee is HKD 5,800 (with a refund of HKD1,800 for participants who maintain a minimum of 80% attendances of lessons, workshops and site visits)

Registration fees are non-refundable. Full refund will be given or cheque will be returned should the applicant is not accepted.
