Completion of this form notifies Cadence Horsemanship staff of your interest in being invited to eligible Rodeo Team events as a Guest Rider. Invitation is not guaranteed.

Rider Qualifications: Please acknowledge that rider meets or exceeds the following qualifications. (Check all that apply) *

Rider is a current Cadence Horsemanship student riding at Intermediate + or Advance level.

Rider has the ability to confidently walk, trot and lope drills and controlled circles consistently on multiple horses.

Rider is able to independently tack his/her own horse without assistance.

Rider is able to execute a focused warm up in a large, uncontrolled space as defined by Cadence coaches for his/her assigned horse.

Rider understands that he/she must follow and uphold the Cadence Horsemanship Code of Conduct & Sportsmanship.

Rider maintains a GPA of 2.7 ("B-") or better.

Parent Understanding *

Parent understands that invitation does not constitute membership on the Cadence Rodeo Team. This opportunity simply provides the rider the opportunity to experience the more competitive side of the sport before going all in on leasing or owning a horse, trailer purchase, boarding, etc.

Parent understands that at the time of invitation fees for day lease for use of the horse, hauling, coaching, entry/arena fees, time onlies and stalling (if applicable) will be communicated. These fees vary by race depending on location and event. Fees are required to be paid in full before the rider may participate in the event.
