Hello students and families!
As many of you know, a decision was made last week by our Board of Education to begin the school year virtually. I will have more information on what that will look like very soon. I do know that you will be required to check in with teachers regularly. Again, I will have additional information regarding what this will look like in the coming days. In addition, communication from our district offices will be coming out very soon.
 If you have any questions or concerns feel free to text me as our school district has created Google Voice Accounts for all staff ‪(909) 255-6226‬.  I check this regularly.
My next request is a simple one. I want to know what elective you would like for this first quarter. Some of you will be enrolled in more than one. You will need a total of 65 electives to graduate from Green Valley and 75 to graduate from YHS if you choose to return there next August.
Remember the first quarter begins August 13th and lasts until the final day of the quarter which is October 9th. All of you will receive a grade for all your classes on October 9th. Please do not let this opportunity pass, EARN your credits and know we are here to serve you!

**Lastly, schedules will be accessible on the ARIES portal on August 10th.
We will have a textbook and Chromebook distribution day; I will be informing you about when this will be scheduled. This is a school of about 125 kids so the distribution will be quick and you will not have to wait in long lines.
If you do choose to check out a Chromebook, remember it will have to come back with no damage!
