For Kawaii Kon 2024 we will be continuing the same exciting Esports Action that you know and love but with a bit of a change to our usual format!
This year we will be offering 'King of the Hill' Style of competition! This means that if you and your friends want to compete in just one match, you can. Or if you feel confident enough to 'run the table' then you can try to hold onto your spot as the best at the convention for as long as possible!
Entrants are for Full Team Rosters for League of Legends, VALORANT and Overwatch 2, Singles may Enter TFT
Format to be as follows:
For Matches with Two New Teams
Both teams pay entrance fees, Winner takes half of the available pot
For Matches with a Hill Victor
The New Challenger pays the entrance fee, Winner takes half of the available pot
The Tentative Schedule of Games will be:
Friday - Freeplay/Cafe Style Gaming Setup ran by The Hotspot Gaming Cafe
Saturday:
10AM-2PM League of Legends 5v5 ARAM King of the Hills
2PM-6PM VALORANT 5v5 King of the Hills
6PM-8PM TFT 8 Man King of the Hills
Sunday:
10AM-12PM Overwatch 2 King of the Hills
12PM-4PM League of Legends Summoner's Rift King of the Hills
ENTRANCE FEES:League of Legends ARAM, Overwatch and TFT $10/Entry
VALORANT, League of Legends SR $20/Entry
*NOTE* Participation will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. Entry forms must be submitted the morning of the competition. If multiple teams are interested in participating, a 'Wait List' will be created for new challengers to participate and 'challenge' for the hill.
