Thank you for inquiring about press access for the 2024 edition of THING!
To apply for press credentials, please fill out the following questions absolutely no later than July 29, 2023.
In addition to this form, we require a letter of assignment from each publication’s editor (which means you will NEED to be on assignment from a particular publication to be eligible for credentials). That letter needs to be emailed directly from the editor to
RachelL@stgpresents.org by July 29. Without it your application is incomplete and will not be considered.
Keep in mind when making requests that press passes are limited. Most outlets will receive one. The number of passes you received in any given past year or for any previous STG event has no bearing on the number you will receive this year.
You will be notified on or before August 5, 2024 if your application has been accepted.
Please Note:
1. A PRESS PASS grants entry into the festival with a camera and access to shoot everywhere but the mainstage photo pit. A PHOTO PASS grants entry and access to the mainstage photo pit.
2. Each person attending the festival as media will need EITHER a press pass OR a photo pass. No one will need both. Please keep that in mind when filling out your #s below.
