How to Request a Program:

1. Fill out the required information to request an Outreach Program. Be as specific as possible with the exact dates and 1 hour blocks of time that work for any sessions you are requesting.

2. The Museum Education Specialist will contact you to confirm dates, times and programs with a confirmation letter and invoice for payment. All payments are due within 1 week of program confirmation and receipt of the invoice.

3. Please reply that you received the confirmation letter and invoice within 1 week of notification, otherwise your program may be cancelled.

4. All programs are non-refundable. If schools or the museum are closed due to inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule the program(s).

5. These programs occur at your school! No need to get a bus and travel!

Programming Types:

We currently offer:

A. in-person classroom programs - we come to your classroom and present our programs. We require access to a computer to log into Gmail, a projector and speakers. If booking multiple sessions on 1 day, we prefer to stay in 1 classroom as setting up and breaking down programs can be time consuming. Many schools request use of the library or other classroom.

B. Independent Learning Modules. - We provide you with a Learning Module via password protected website with all the resources needed to teach a lesson. We provide a guide for you to use. We do not teach these programs.

If Booking Multiple Programs or Sessions:

1. Bookings are limited to 30 total students. If you are booking for an entire grade, you will need to book multiple sessions of the same program. ex. Booking Denver Grows for 90 kids would require 1 day of programs with 3 one hour sessions.

2. The maximum number of sessions available in one day is 3. If you require 4 sessions of one program, we will break it into 2 days.

3. All sessions are 60 minutes. It is difficult to present them in any time frame shorter than that so please be clear on the exact times of your programs. ie. if your class goes to lunch at 12:20pm, don't book a program from 11:30-12:30pm. We will arrive 10 minutes before the program to set up.

4. If booking multiple types of programs, ie. Denver Grows and Lego City, please provide multiple dates to book each program with the number of necessary times for each session.

5. If booking back to back sessions, we prefer to stay in one classroom as many of our programs require about 10 minutes to break down and reset. If we need to move, we will ask for some time in between programs to make sure we have the full hour for the program.

In-person Outreach Programs: $4 per student, Title 1 students FREE

Independent Learning Modules: $2 per student; Title 1 students FREE

All Title 1 programs are still free!
