Hacks/Hackers in collaboration with Code for Africa, presents a Wikipedia fact-checking training called "Wikifact-checkers "
The training is for media professionals. It will train media professionals on how to fact-check information online and how to write and document information on Wikipedia from reliable sources.
This training is a 10-week program that will begin in February.
The training will teach the use of :
1. Wikipedia, WikiCommons, and Wikidata, as well as Digital archiving Training
2. Fact-checking Training
3. Basic Digital Document Archiving/Data Storage Techniques and Tools Training
4. Mentoring
