This form is for registration/interests of Intermediate level online music theory course (in English, via ZOOM).

Beginning in July, TWICE a Week

Intermediate Level is designed and aim for:
-For students with more than 2 years of studying instruments, age 9 and up (or consult with Dr. Cong Ji @Wechat jicong_1028 or 646-204-3673)
-Lessons cover ALL the materials for ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory 涵盖英皇五级乐理知识内容 (The ABRSM theory exam will be available online in 2022, for more info: https://us.abrsm.org/en/our-exams/online-theory/) *ABRSM Music Theory Grade 5 is prerequisite for Performance Grade 5 and up (考演奏级6-8需要先通过五级乐理考试）
-To help for instrument learning and playing, and be more efficient in their instrument lessons 目标是乐理知识为乐器演奏服务，并且让自己的器乐课程更有效率。

Topics include but not limited to: Rhythm and Meter (simple and compound meter and irregular division), Basic conducting patterns, Clefs (including alto and tenor clefs), Essential Musical Terms, Major and ALL minor Scales, Scale degree functions, Key Signature, Intervals Quality and inversion, Orchestra Instruments and Transposition, Triads and inversion, Analyze Harmonies in Cadences, etc. The class will also explore and discuss some knowledge of music history, music appreciation and performance related issues as well.

TUITION: 45-minute lesson, 16 lessons, $400 (ca. 10 students) include all class materials, handout, feedback on notes and homework, etc. Payment via Paypal (jicong_1028@hotmail.com) Venmo or Zelle (6462043673), please send screenshot after transfer.
