Belmont High School OTA Nomination
The Outstanding Teacher Awards (OTA), facilitated by the Foundation for Belmont Education (FBE) and sponsored by the Belmont Savings Bank Foundation, recognize the extraordinary contributions made by teachers in the Belmont Public Schools.

Parents/guardians, students, and community members are invited to nominate teachers for this special honor. Thank you for your nomination!

A sub-committee of the FBE will select one teacher from each of the Belmont Public Schools for recognition. Nominations open March 6, 2024 and close March 20, 2024. Honorees will be revealed early April and, on April 29, awards will be presented at a ceremony. All students, families, colleagues and community members are invited, and encouraged, to join the celebration!

Nominees must meet eligibility requirements as follows:

• Have completed 3 consecutive years teaching in the Belmont Public Schools and currently teach in the Belmont Public Schools

• Teach students on a regular basis (40% of the time)

• Have not been previously selected for an Outstanding Teacher Award within the last 3 years (see previous recipients here)

Only one teacher can be named Outstanding Teacher of the Year, but every teacher appreciates words of gratitude. If you would like to send a message to the teacher you nominated, please cut and paste what you wrote and send a Star Award.
