YES envisions a world where all teens grow into flourishing adults, and our mission is to level, clear, and widen that path. We offer work-readiness training, support in finding employment, employment opportunities paid directly by us, and a leadership and civic engagement program. Some of our programs have eligibility requirements, but all teens in Tompkins County, NY who are 14+ qualify for at least some of our services.
This application is designed to be filled out by TEENS, not their parents/caregivers unless absolutely necessary. Please fill out this application to the best of your ability. We will also reach out to the references you provide, and send an online authorization form to your parent/caregiver.
Filling out this application does not guarantee placement or service. We will work with each teen to determine eligibility and will reach out if teens are placed on a waitlist and/or are not able to be served for any reason.

We have received many more applications for the YES Summer Jobs Program than we have capacity to hire this year. We will continue to accept applications but will only reach out to schedule an interview if we believe we may have the capacity to serve you. After you submit this form, your Parent/Guardian will receive an authorization that they should complete, and you will receive a short survey that we also recommend you complete, as this will help us determine our potential to serve you.
