Do you want to make impact on the laws, policies, and systems level decisions around public education in Hawai'i? Within the WAVE Advocacy Sprint, participants will collaborate on initiatives that drive change toward educational equity.  We feel that as professionals within the sphere of education, teachers have a unique opportunity to observe areas of need and use their voices in service of powerful advocacy.  The WAVE Advocacy Sprint is comprised of both training sessions, during which participants will learn in conversation with one another, and advocacy actions, where participants will use what they have learned to create impact.  

All of our sessions are virtual via Zoom and will be within late January - April 2021. Exact dates are TBD, there will be 1-weekday and 1-weekend per month 4:30 – 6:30pm. Depending on the cohort's availability.
