This one day course will take place on Saturday 17th June in Sheffield
We will be playfully, creatively relaxing into stories together. The learning model is action-reflection with time to experience the approach, to reflect on the experiences and to practise the art of OutoftheBox. The OutoftheBox approach will also be modelled in the training process with the facilitators drawing out the wisdom of the group and enabling peer learning.
The training will have the feel of a retreat, as we share stories together and have time for a shared meal and coffee breaks.
Who is the course for?OutoftheBox is an approach that can be used by those working with children, adults and intergenerational groups in schools, hospitals, churches, families, care homes, prisons or in the community. It is a useful approach for those involved in mentoring, chaplaincy, therapy, counselling and spiritual accompaniment. It is also used by those working to improve the working culture of secular and faith organisations.
This one day training assumes that the participants already have experience of sharing stories and facilitating wondering with an OutoftheBox approach (for instance Godly Play uses similar principles). From this baseline we will be learning the art of Community Play together.
What comes with the Membership?OutoftheBox Membership offers you a life long resource and community and includes:
